The user asked if they can run an application as part of a Scout with Scoutsbees shell extensions. It is possible to run anything on the Custom Hive or Powershell.exe as System. Login Enterprise combined with Azure was suggested for migration testing or a new application, but Shell execution would have to run in the Custom Hive and System context. Troubleshooting an On-Premises 8.7 Issue with SOP Not Functioning
A customer upgraded their On-Premises environment from 8.5 to 8.7 and introduced SOP 8.7, however it was not functioning. Possible fixes such as restarting ControlUp Monitor and SOP, changing the SSL cert, toggling "Ignore SSL Cert Errors", checking port 443, checking UserManagement logs, checking docker logs, creating a monitor log (Log4Net) and generating the key file again were suggested. How to show only devices that have Zoom installed and allow to push a custom script via ControlUp Edge DX?
The user asked how to identify which devices have Zoom installed so they can bulk select and push a custom script. It was suggested that they check the Installed Applications report on ControlUp Edge DX, and in the new Devices 2.0 dashboard they will be able to filter devices by installed application and then bulk select to push the custom script. The installed applications/versions are updated on the desktop daily but can be forced by deleting the HKLM\SOFTWARE\Avacee\SIP\ScriptLastRunTimes value.

Anyone have experience with ControlUp Edge DX & XenApp provisioned TS / VDI?
A user asked about experience with EdgeDX and XenApp provisioned TS/VDI and was recommended to deploy RealTimeDX instead due to its stateless nature and the fact that it will need rebooting to change the device ID and lose historical reports. To overcome this for Teams Monitoring, the user could install the EdgeDX Agent with a known switch, make a hardcoded link from the C and D drives, and set the custom RegisterWithDeviceName setting to be true. The user then asked if this was officially supported and if it would be coming to EdgeDX or Realtime/Solve, and was told that it is very interesting.

ControlUp Delegated Permission Configuration for Automation and Triggers
The user suggested delegation of permission for automation and triggering of ControlUp resources. This is a current feature request, but there is no ETA at the moment. Looking at the Security Policy in ControlUp 8.6.5, it's possible to create a new role with a selection of permissions and per script, define the folder role that can run different scripts. The user was also looking for a read-only option for incident triggers and hoped it would be available soon.
