Restricting Visibility to SaaS Apps in ControlUp Employees Module

Posted on November 3, 2025

A user asked if there is a way to grant access to the Employees module but restrict visibility to SaaS Apps. Another user was suggested to be familiar with these configurations. In response to this, it was mentioned that currently ControlUp does not offer this level of granularity but you can configure the list of URLs to track as part of the "User Activity Reporting". All administrators will be impacted and see either "Non Business App" or the current URL/App. The configuration link for this is available at https://support.controlup.com/docs/end-user-activity#end-user-activity-data-collection-settings

Since I don’t see a dedicated channel for ControlUp Employees, I’ll ask here first. Is there a way to grant access to the Employees module but restrict visibility to the SaaS Apps section so users can’t see the URLs being visited?

@member I know you have been playing with such configurations.. any thoughts?

Good morning! Currently we are not offering that granularity.

Today you can configure the list of URL you want to track as part of the "User Activity Reporting".

Meaning all admins will be impacted and see either "Non Business App" or the current URL/App.

The configuration is available here https://support.controlup.com/docs/end-user-activity#end-user-activity-data-collection-settings
