Using the EUC Universal Sync Script in ControlUp
When using the EUC Universal Sync Script, make sure the "preview" Parameter is set to false in the cfg file to run the Sync script, and restart the monitor service for scheduling. The version on Github is the latest. The warning "Commit Changes?" is misleading but to assign False to the Preview parameter commit needs to be set to Yes. A bug in 8.8 related to Templates being empty was mentioned.

Running Nutanix CLI Commands From the ControlUp Console
A user asked if it was possible to run Nutanix CLI commands from the ControlUp console, and if it was possible through the PowerShell module or REST API. It was suggested that if the CLI tools and firewall are open, this might be possible. One member shared that they have a similar solution which involves SSH'ing into the Nutanix host, plus the OpenSSH Powershell module installed. The member agreed to share their solution.

How are the credentials saved on ControlUp Scoutbees for a published App/Desktop scout?
Credentials for Apps/Desktops on Scoutbees are encrypted either in a database or with AWS-vault, depending on whether the Scout is running on a cloud hive or a custom hive. Issues Adding Citrix Cloud Connection with ControlUp 8.7
A user reported they were unable to add a Citrix cloud connection to ControlUp 8.7 - the shared credentials needed were only present in the console where the connection was initially added. Suggestions of renaming AppData, clearing cache, and checking for a network/proxy/AV issue were made. Testing File Share Availability Using a Shell Scout

Missing the “Reconnect ” Option for RDP sessions in ControlUp RealTime DX
The discussion focused on the lack of a "reconnect" option in RealTime DX for managing Remote Desktop sessions when resolution changes occur. The team is currently exploring "Solve Actions" as an option, with additional Edge DX capability in the future. Troubleshooting a Script to Disable Maintenance Mode in Cloud-Managed Citrix DaaS
A user had troubles with a script for taking a machine out of maintenance mode in cloud-managed Citrix DaaS. It was suggested to check the parameters and to compare the script for enabling maintenance mode. The issue was solved by installing the Citrix SDK, saving credentials to a secureclient.csv file, and including the Set-XDCredentials command in the Disable script. It was recommended to update the scripts for the Cloud environment.

How to Configure Office 365 SMTP Server with the ControlUp Console?
A user asked whether the ControlUp Console could use the Office 365 SMTP for alerts. It was suggested to use the "local" SMTP, a cloud-based one and/or Gmail's SMTP. The user then tested in a lab with port 25 and found it to be working, subsequently confirming it with PowerShell outside of ControlUp.
