A user encountered an issue with their hypervisor not linking to the agent, despite it being installed and manageable in ControlUp console. Other users suggested checking the hypervisor connection and agent connection to a monitor in the console, as lack of connection to a monitor could prevent data from being sent to DEX.

not quite sure whats going on here, but my hypervisor is not linking to the agent. Any ideas as to whats causing this?
Its saying install agent, but the agent is installed. I can manage the machine within CU, but it will not link the hierarchy in DEX like it should. Using nutanix as the hypervisor here
Are you connected to the hypervisor in the console as well?
yep all looks good on the console and creds are shared and shows in DEX no problem. just no linking happening
in the console can u see if the agent is connected to a monitor
if not connecting to monitor wil not send data to DEX
