A user asked about the possibility of blocking location information for specific devices. ControlUp team responded that it is currently only possible to disable location information for all devices, but they are working on a solution to disable it for specific devices within the next month. However, it is not currently possible to restrict specific users from seeing location information for certain devices.

Is it possible on a certain set of devices to disable/block location information?
It’s currently all or nothing at the moment. I have a customer that requested this and the team says it’s on the works and it may take up to 2 sprints (roughly a month).
Just to be clear. You CAN disable certain devices from sending location data.
You can NOT prevent only specific users from seeing the devices location.
IE setting device X and Y to no longer send location information, but location Z should continue to send location information is possible.
User A can not see device Z location but User B can see device Z location, is not currently possible
