A user asked why they were unable to disable the ControlUp Daily Digest. After trying from different web browsers and ensuring that the user had sufficient permissions, they opened a support ticket and it was discovered that two user accounts for the same user were present with different permissions – the least restrictive taking precedence. It was fixed, and they asked how to control who receives the Daily Digest. To do so, an email address and the time of day when it is sent needs to be entered.

Any idea why I can’t disable the Daily Digest?
Have you tried from another web browser? Have u closed the web browser and open it back up? Are you and admin in Scoutbees? I’m able to in my small lab.
yes to all. I am a Domain admin , and a ControlUp admin and a Solve Login Admin.
@member WDYT? Have we seen this before?
I haven’t encountered this issue previously. I can’t tell from the screenshot, but do you have an e-mail address entered for a user to receive the daily digest? Perhaps it only disables once you have someone entered to have received a daily digest?
Yes I have an email entered. I tried disabling with and with out it.
I see the same username listed with 2 different email address. One is an Admin and one is an editor. I’m guessing the Editor does not have rights to do this change?
How do I maintain Solve user accounts?
https://support.controlup.com/docs/configure-solve looks like i do it in the RTC.
still not able to edit. I’ll open a support ticket.
Morning Brian, Yes, in instances where we have two user accounts with different permissions, the least restrictive takes precedence. Our backend will need to remove that Editor account for you. Thanks for submitting the ticket.
@member Thanks for fixing this. Is there a way to control who gets the Daily Digest? I don’t want it but he Client does.
Sure, just type in the e-mail address of the people who you wish to send the daily digest and the time of when they are to receive it.
Derp, I knew that. Is it the weekend yet?
