Setting up ControlUp Compliance for macOS with JamfPro as the MDM

Posted on March 4, 2026

A discussion about setting up Compliance for macOS with JamfPro as the MDM was had, with a user mentioning that they were prompted for additional approvals despite having imported the configuration profile from ControlUp’s site. Others suggested adding additional configurations to the Profile Policy and raised the question of whether the "Local Network" option can be added using the PPPC Utility. Discussion also took place about whether documentation could be improved for this service.

Read the entire ‘Setting up ControlUp Compliance for macOS with JamfPro as the MDM’ thread below:

Hi, I am working on setting up ControlUp for Compliance on macOS with JamfPro as the MDM. I have imported the configuration profile file from the ControlUp site and deployed it to my test device. I am being prompted for the below, see attached screenshot. Is this expected or the config file named “ControlUp CU4C Full Disk Access permission” should be taking care of the prompt for the user? I want to limit the prompts the users will get when installing it.

You would need to add the additional approvals to the policy.

Later versions blocked users from adding apps to Full Disk access

My devices are on Tahoe

you would need add the additional config to the Profile Policy

users should only be prompt once on the others as they should have the rights to add them just full disk access need the MDM profile

do you have a file payload setting it up for the “Local Network”?

Im using the PPPC Utility but it does not have “Local Network”

@member your more mac expert than me would u have advice on this?

Ill install it on my mac in the morning then ill see if i can create a .mobileconfig for it

I have raised the question internally if documentation can be improved on and include more details. @member thanks your a star :star-gif:

for what in specific is this service used for? .cu4cui
