There was a question about the source of patches when Secure DX deploys them – whether they come from ControlUp’s repository or the app vendor. It was mentioned that it could also be a combination of ControlUp and the vendor. Since last week, patches can also be pulled directly from ControlUp. It was suggested to check the release notes for updates and a list for allowing access to the CDN was shared. A user confirmed that they had already enabled access to the CDN and found it to work well.

Happy Monday. I thought I saw the answer to this somewhere, but can’t locate it. When Secure DX deploys a patch, it ControlUp delivering the patch from their repository or is is the workstation downloading from the app vendor?
from Vendor
TY. I’m not sure if we are throttling downloads or if the vendor is just slow. The adobe Reader patch takes hours so I was curious who the source was. thx!
there might be a go between ControlUp and vendor might with logging with cu support.
Actually, since last week we can also pull from CU
Let me check when the release notes will get updated
Nice thanks @member
so if i deploy an adobe patch now, it will come from ControlUp?
Yes, I think the default is now our CDN, but you will need to allowlist that
where can i find that list?
That’s the list securedx-cdn.controlup.com
