Anyone have experience with ControlUp Edge DX & XenApp provisioned TS / VDI?
A user asked about experience with EdgeDX and XenApp provisioned TS/VDI and was recommended to deploy RealTimeDX instead due to its stateless nature and the fact that it will need rebooting to change the device ID and lose historical reports. To overcome this for Teams Monitoring, the user could install the EdgeDX Agent with a known switch, make a hardcoded link from the C and D drives, and set the custom RegisterWithDeviceName setting to be true. The user then asked if this was officially supported and if it would be coming to EdgeDX or Realtime/Solve, and was told that it is very interesting.

Several users asked about creating an alert to notify them if two on-prem servers are offline longer than 10 minutes. It was suggested to set up a script to check the servers and additional metrics every 10 minutes, run a Scout to test ports for the service, or use the ‘System Down’ trigger in Console (RealtimeDX). Help troubleshooting why we can not update agents via the ControlUp Console?
A user asked why agents cannot be updated via the ControlUp console. It is likely due to lack of admin rights, but AppVolumes can interfere with unzipping files. A possible workaround could be using the monitor command, updating the .NET version to 4.8, or using an Appvolume with the ControlUp agent. The Appvolume method has so far worked successfully. Title: Troubleshooting ControlUp Agent Updates with AppVolumes

When deploying the ControlUp EdgeDX Agent with the Agent Manager, it calls to downloads.sip.controlup.com to pull down the assigned version. If on-prem, a proxy bypass must be done for downloads.sip.controlup.com even if the agent is pre-packaged so that future "upgrades" can be done.
