Users reported incorrect HDX Latency and Round Trip Time (RTT) values in Citrix VDA versions 2112 and earlier. The issue can be fixed by disabling the HDX Adaptive Scaling feature in the VDA registry (CVADHELP-19781). Changing the CU setting to current value and disabling Remote DX latency may also help. More information can be found in the Citrix documentation at https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-virtual-apps-desktops/2203-ltsr/whats-new/cumulative-update-1/fixed-issues.html.

Anyone upgraded the Citrix VDA to 2203CU2 and have noticed the HDX Latency to be erroneous and erratic? This is also picked up by ControlUp Latency Last metric but if you have Remote DX you can see the latency is lower than the Citrix counter.
We also did upgraded the Citrix VDA to 2302CU2. However, did not noticed any such latency metrics showing innacurate information.
I will check in director and let you know if anything is abnormal..
@member remember the default setting in CU is to.
change to current value. And if i remeber right Remotx is taking the latancy values from the reciever
that setting change made solve alot better for me• I applied this to the VDA and it resolved the issue.. When you run Connection Quality Indicator on VDA version 2112, incorrect Round Trip Time (RTT) and latency values might be reported.
• This fix allows you to use the legacy NetScaler L7 latency measurement when the HDX Adaptive Scaling feature is disabled. The NetScaler L7 latency and VDA HDX Adaptive Scaling features cannot be enabled simultaneously.
• For the functionality in the fix to take effect, you must disable the HDX Adaptive Scaling feature in the VDA registry as follows:
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\Wds\icawd
• Name: AdaptiveScalingEnabled
• Type: DWORD
• Value: 0
• [CVADHELP-19781]
