A user was having trouble finding a way to automate reports for users on 5G, and asked for a simple solution or if it required a support ticket. Another user suggested using workflows to automatically generate and send a report with the necessary information. Support was recommended for further assistance.

Not sure where to put this question, but I’m using app.controlup.com so I think this is where I want to be.
Currently we are waiting on a fix, that I believe will be released next month – it no longer shows user names in details. Once this is fixed, I want to hopefully be able to send an email report that highlights the user, the machine, and what ISP they are using. I know I can just manually press the report button then filter it and then send that in an email… but we want to be able to send a report of users who are using 5g to management and it would be nice to automate the report.
I was looking at how to create reports but I didn’t see anything for what I need. Is there a simple solution to this – or is this a support ticket question?

@member this sounds like something you out do with workflows – lots of people here doing good stuff – Might be something in the #channel channel and very help full people in there.
You can build a workflow that:
- Queries device data – Automatically fetches user, machine, and ISP information
- Filters for 5G users – Identifies only those devices using 5G connectivity
- Generates a report – Formats the data into a clear, readable format
- Emails to management – Sends the report on your chosen schedule
