A member of ControlUp suggested using "controlup-for-desktops" and "DEX APIs" for certain questions. A user was looking to access data such as user login and logout events, locked and unlocked status, and IP addresses through the API. It was suggested to use the "get-data-index" endpoint to obtain this data. To correlate with user profiles, the device name or ID can be used.

@member for Desktops I would use controlup-for-desktops. DEX APIs you can use this one since we don’t have a channel just for APIs. What is your API question?
Hello @member. I’m looking to get events like when a user last logged on / off, when they locked and unlocked their machine, along with their last known ip address(es). That data doesn’t appear to be in the "List all devices" endpoint. I see it in when viewing employee profiles at app.controlup.com so I know it exists somewhere. Is it accessible via api? If so, can you tell me which endpoint?

You’d have to correlate the device name or device ID with data from list all devices to get the IP address.
Alternatively you can correlate with or or
