The user is inquiring about the creation of expressions in ControlUp, specifically trying to create a dashboard for CU customers. Another user suggests the use of CU Workflows to gather data and create custom indices for dashboarding. While a suggestion is made to potentially use Expert Builder, it is confirmed that this functionality is not available in filtering.

Hi, how can I make expressions like; value equals 1 AND value2 equals 2 AND value3 equals 3 OR value equals 2.
For example, I want to show the number of the devices where the CA 2023 certificate for the secure boot is (already) present.
This is true if the cert is already in the database, or if the status UEFICA2023Status reg key is equals to Updated AND if WindowsUEFICA2023Capable is 2 AND if UEFICA2023Error is 0.
Behind this question, I think this can be a useful dashboard for every CU customer. Maybe CU can create a predefined template.
@member so the filtering is al done at the same time. So you cant do a AND -> OR -> AND etc. All ANDS, all ORS, and all NOTS, are all on the same level. To get around this you can use CU Workflows to gather the data you want do IF ELSE statements and write the output to a custom index. This custom index can then be used for Dashboarding. We are going to rely on Workflows to do more advanced math 🙂
Expert builder might be able to do it though, right?
As far as I know not in the filtering
