An MSP suggested having enhanced grouping and separation for roles to help with organization. DEX (app.controlup.com) offers role based access controls with device groups. There is currently the ability to group in the main dashboard and command line install. The requested feature is for a single view to show customer devices separated by groups with headings, separators, or a tree structure like the VDI view.

We are an MSP and having enhanced grouping would be extremely helpful. Group tags are helpful, but having separations for roles would help us with this.
If your using DEX (app.controlup.com) then you can do role based access controls based on device groups.

Ill do some more testing here. it would be nice to do grouping however in the main dashboard
You do group in the main dashboard. And you can group via install commandline as well.
what I mean is, separating the groups in the same view, not targeting a specific one
so it would show in a single view, customer a devices, customer b devices, etc
rather than selecting each one individually
so I have my device groups here
but just having something like a heading or separator, or even tree just like the VDI view
that would be the best
