A user asked about excluding or filtering out errors that were frequently appearing in event logs on machines. ControlUp will check internally to see what could be causing these events and from their dev team, it is safe to filter them out as they are harmless.

Seeing this alot in event logs on machines. any way to exclude or filter out these errors? not sure if its an issue, but would like to clean it up if possible
You cut of the good stuff
haha sorry
Josh, let me check internally on Monday to see what could be causing these events
From our dev team:
"It’s where we are trying to enumerate multiple displays for remote control. We left the errors noisy in the event log because we want to know the situations where the lookup fails. There are a billion different display combinations in the world, and we did our best to enumerate them correctly.
You always get those in a VM FYI. So they are harmless but interesting"
So it’s safe to filter them out
10-4. thanks for the update!
