A user asked for advice on using a weird service name for monitoring. The team suggested trying it without parentheses and creating a user voice item for this feature. It was also suggested to try using the service name instead. Wild cards can be used for partial matching in triggers.

If so and it still doesn’t work I recommend opening a user voice item for this. I feel this would be very beneficial if you could trigger off the service name as well

You can actually monitor based on either. For example. I have my services monitoring configured to only watch for the system name of the Adobe Acrobat Update Service.
You would still need to use the display name in triggers. Though you can use wild cards and partial matching there
