Newly Added Citrix ADCs Not Showing Up In ControlUP Insights or Solve

Posted on March 9, 2023

The user needed help with adding Citrix ADCs to CUP with Insights and Solve not displaying. It was suggested that the user should check if they used shared credentials and use a data collector. It was also suggested to add credentials to the monitor settings and change the connection settings to the shared credential, with a link to https://support.controlup.com/docs/configuring-shared-credentials. The user was thankful for the help.

Read the entire ‘Troubleshooting Adding Citrix ADCs to ControlUP’ thread below:

Hello all, we’ve just added a couple Citrix ADCs to ControlUp. We can see all the basic information in the Console, but nothing is displaying in Insights nor Solve… do I need to do something else?

Please check if you used shared credentials and please also use a data collector.

If this isn’t prefixed with [Shared] then its probably your issue. I’m willing to bet this is the problem. Let me know if you want to jump on a call some time.

Ok gotcha, we used the nsroot acccount to configure them in Console, and it doesn’t have the [shared] prefix.

So into your monitor settings and add the credentials there and then share them. You can then go into the NetScaler connection settings and change it to the shared credential.
