A user asked if they could obtain a license for a test environment when they already had a production license. They were informed that a free trial license can be obtained with a new org. If the test environment is on the same domain of the production, they can just use a separate org for the same license. If the test environment is on a different domain, they would need to contact the sales team with their query. They were also informed about the Expert Program at https://www.controlup.com/products/controlup/expertprogram/, which they can get in touch with @member about.

Hi everyone, I have a question about licensing. Is it possible to get a license for a test environment if I already have a production license?
If you create a new org you’ll get a free trial license automatically.
yes, but trial have a 21 days, but I’m thinking about some license for longest time.
Is this test environment on the same domain as your production?
Your license is tied to the users AD forest. If your test environment is in the same AD forest then you can create a second org and it will use the same license.I understood, but I have test env in separate forset.
You would then need to discuss that with your sales team as that would require a separate license.
ok, I will try to do that 🙂 thanks 🙂
Maybe you are eligible for the Expert Program?
