Users have reported that when connecting via ControlUp 4 Digital Workspace (CU4D), there is a noticeable delay in the appearance of the blue remote control button. This delay can cause what appears to be a temporary “bug” or lag in the transition to the remote session, affecting the user experience by extending the time it takes to establish remote control.
This issue has been acknowledged by ControlUp, and a fix has been scheduled for release. Specifically, the problem is set to be resolved in an update planned for Sunday, October 11. This update aims to eliminate the lag in displaying the remote button, thereby improving the responsiveness and usability of the remote control feature within CU4D.
Until the release, users experiencing this issue can be assured that it is not a configuration problem on their end but a known bug being actively addressed by the ControlUp development team. For ongoing updates or to report further issues, users are encouraged to contact ControlUp support or follow announcements on official ControlUp channels.
For more information about ControlUp remote features and troubleshooting, users may visit the ControlUp documentation at https://docs.controlup.com or the ControlUp support site.

Anyone else noticed that when remoting on via CU4D it’s now taking longer to show the blue remote button? Seems to be taking a chunk of time to change over and sometimes “bugs” in changing over. Just wanting to see if it’s something on our end before logging it to CU Support
Hi Charles,
Yes! This is already being fixed, with a release this Sunday October 11
Thanks Abel
