A user asked for a way to duplicate a lane within a flow without having to rebuild it manually. Another user suggested using subflows and shared a link to ControlUp’s support page on subflows and their capabilities. The original user will try subflows and expressed disappointment in the inability to duplicate nodes in graphical programming. The second user offered further assistance if needed.

⁉️Hi, I have a flow with one lane and I want to duplicate that lane to create additional lanes within the same flow. Is this possible? I cannot find an option to duplicate it. Rebuilding everything manually is time-consuming and increases the risk of mistakes.
I would recommend using subflows for this kind of scenario and I think you can duplicate the flow itself if I remember correctly
What is this workflow doing?
The flow retrieves members from an Entra group, matches them with ControlUp device IDs, and then assigns a group tag. I have multiple groups that I want to process in the same way.
Do you think subflows would work for you?

Ok, I will try that. That is unfortunate. If it were possible to duplicate a node or a group of nodes, graphical programming would be much easier. 🔜 Now I need to see whether I can build a subflow that triggers the main flow.
Definitely possible to have a a subflow trigger another flow. Let me know if you would like any other help.
