The topic of exporting Audit Logs for the Dex platform arose in Slack, and several members provided possible solutions using ControlUp APIs and workflows. How to View CVAD Delivery Controller Information in ControlUp Real Time Console

A discussion took place about how to see what CVAD delivery controller a machine is registered to within the Real Time Console 9.2.0.622 - the "CVAD Broker Name" column can show the DNS hostname of the controller a machine is registered to, but this may be empty if the machine's registration state is Unregistered or Unknown. The column should show data when connected to the EUC environment where the machine is hosted, and the auto connect feature can also be used to see CVAD data and ControlUp data together. Troubleshooting Permissions on ControlUp VDI DaaS Portal

A user noticed a change in the VDI DaaS portal and the VDI specific Audit Log. They were previously able to perform remote control actions, but now are met with a "permission denied" message. Further investigation reveals some quirky permission behavior and an incident was opened. It seems to be related to the recent change in the SAML provider. It was suggested to enable "manage web app" on org members to test, which fixed the issue. Further assistance from the identity team may be needed to fix the SAML configuration.

Using ControlUp Triggers for Citrix Monitoring

A user who is not an expert in Citrix raised a query about getting the same information from ControlUp as their Citrix support team gets from Citrix Monitor. A column in cu4vdi shows the registered state and there is a community trigger for this. The use of Citrix Cloud should not be an issue for the trigger, as conditions can be added to report only when the machine is powered on, regardless of whether it is DaaS or on-prem.

Troubleshooting Issues in ControlUp: How to View Granular CPU and Memory Data

It was suggested to use invoke cu-query to export real-time data or use triggers based on specific conditions. The historical pipeline only saves 5-minute data points, but each data point includes Min, Avg, and Max values. This information can be seen in the report UI.
