A discussion took place about how to see what CVAD delivery controller a machine is registered to within the Real Time Console 9.2.0.622 – the "CVAD Broker Name" column can show the DNS hostname of the controller a machine is registered to, but this may be empty if the machine’s registration state is Unregistered or Unknown. The column should show data when connected to the EUC environment where the machine is hosted, and the auto connect feature can also be used to see CVAD data and ControlUp data together. The discussion can be found on the ControlUp Slack channel.

Is there a way to see what CVAD delivery controller a machine is registered to within the 9.2.0.622 Real Time Console? Trying to add that to a column but not seeing it as an option.
You can use the "CVAD Broker Name" column.
This should show you the DNS hostname of the controller that the machine is registered to. It can be null if not Brokered.
Ah, I thought it was that one. I’m getting data from CVAD Delivery Group, but the CVAD Broker Name column is empty.
Weird.

Is it a Citrix Cloud (DaaS) or On-premises CVAD connection?
For the Citrix Cloud, this property is not written.
On-Prem CVAD
This can happen when the machine’s registration state is Unregistered or Unknown.
Check ‘CVAD Registration State’ column for those machines. It should show something other than Registered.
If I go to the DEX web page, the information is available.

Are you connected to that On-Prem CVAD connection from the Console or just connected to the machine?
Ah… that’s what I was doing wrong. Connecting to the EUC environment where that machine is hosted provides data in that column.
Previously was just connected to the specific machine via the RTC.
🙂
Good to know, thanks!
@member so in Dex everything is connected 24/7. In the console you have manually connect to the EUC extension to see any CVAD data. You can also enable the auto connect feature in the console as well so you can CVAD data and CU data together.
