A user asked for documentation and other information about the data the ControlUp Agent sends to the cloud service -- sales or CSM contacts can help with this question, and GDPR/security documents can address customer security concerns. Edge DX is cloud-only, and relevant data can be found in the data indexes when the internal indices tickbox is enabled. Gathering Custom Reports with ControlUp Insights
This discussion focused on custom reporting needs and different ways to create and access reports. It was suggested to ask ControlUp for a road map call, and to open a public API as part of the new streaming data project. Insights (on-prem) and PowerShell and Excel were also mentioned as possible ways to create custom reports. Additionally, reports should be stored for one year, rather than having the data in two places, to avoid extra work for users.

Feature Parity Matrix and FedRamp Certification for ControlUp
A user asked ControlUp about FedRamp certification, and if there was a feature parity matrix between the on-prem release and SaaS. They were informed that GitHub always provides the latest version and were advised to ignore the version displayed in their RT Console, and click 'yes' to any warning messages. It was also mentioned that the script may become a built-in functionality in the next major release, although this is subject to change.

Setting Up Persistent Desktops and Servers With ControlUp
A user asked about syncing Active Directory computers with RealTime DX Console, and was advised to use GPOs or automated agent deployment to set up persistent desktops and servers. However, there are drawbacks to the latter which can be found in the ControlUp documentation. The Agent can now be upgraded from the console using a registry flag. The full discussion, including the relevant ControlUp URLs, can be seen at https://controlupcommunity.slack.com/archives/C0473N33S00/p1695332008532109.

Excluding Machines from the On-Prem Console View in ControlUp
The user asked how to exclude machines from the Machines view in an on-premise console. Following a suggestion from another user, they need to remove permissions on hypervisor level for the service account being used. While this can be done at the cluster level, they wanted to suggest a filter in the Console to make it more practical. They will open a feature request for this. As a workaround, unchecking a box can be done. For more details refer to the article: https://support.controlup.com/docs/en/excluding-a-machine-hypervisors-from-the-monitor?highlight=exclude.

Tips for Setting Up Outlook Search with FSLogix in ControlUp
After an interesting webinar about ControlUp/FSLogix, an user asked if Office Containers in combination with Citrix UPM would be ok for setting up Outlook search with FSLogix. They were told to disable FSLogix RoamSearch for both Profile Container and Office Containers and make sure that Search Indexing are properly configured, as some EUC solutions modify these settings on installation. Additional advice was given to check Citrix policies. The user is setting up 3 tests environments to test the different solutions.
