How is DEX authenticating to the domain for the VDI DAAS? Is it authenticating through the Monitors?
Yes. Though what piece of information is used to authenticate depends on this setting:
With it checked, DEX passes your UPN to the monitors and the monitors check that against the security policy.
If you logged in with a method that cannot retrieve your UPN (sign in with username/password, Google, etc) and we only have an email address, then you’ll be prompted for credentials to use
If the checkbox is NOT checked, the email address is passed. At which point you may need to make some configuration changes on the security policy side. As traditionally, most existing organizations have security policy rules based on AD users.
