A user asked about a recent feature where data sources will failover to a different site if all monitors in that site are down. It turns out that this is not a feature, but the team is working on data aggregation between sites instead. A sizing complication may come with this feature, but it would also allow for High Availability, as customers often mistake sites for HA as opposed to a load balancer between monitors.

Small question, I thought this was true but testing in my lab and not working. "Will Data sources now fail over to a different Site if all monitors in that site are down" I thought this can in as a feature in a recent new release
nope, what we are working on is data aggregation between sites

no worries, would love to have it though but it would make sizing an even more complicated thing
yep, but would allows for HA, Customers misatke sites for HA and not just a load balance between monitors
