A user asked if there is a way to automate a ‘Force Reset VM’ using the real-time console for a trigger. The ControlUp 8.8 Powershell module includes the option to use Solve Actions for this need. A sample script will be available at the end of the month.

Quick question, but is there a way to automate "Force Reset VM" in the real-time console for a trigger? For example, we have VMs hosted on XenServers that sometimes go braindead and need to be force rebooted. Right now I have a script to gracefully reboot said VMs but because they are unresponsive this does not work. Thank you.
we now have the option to use solve actions using the powershell module in 8.8
Great news! Will need to upgrade from 8.7
There should be a sample script coming out for this at the end of this month, using the above module.
