In order to access the API tab in ControlUp SIP, users must login directly to SIP, not through DEX. If unable to log on, a support ticket can be submitted for a devops team to create an API key. An instructional video featuring all the steps to get started with Edge DX API and Power BI can be found at https://vimeo.com/843341854?share=copy. There is no exact ETA on when the API key tab will be available for DEX.

How do i get the API Tab withing settings
Im the admin on the console but i do use SAML but i can also login "Local" with the same account the i need to auth , get a email with a code and then i also neet to put in the 2FMA code in
If this is not going to allow me to get the access to the API TAB , how do i create a account for Local to allow me to do API keys ?
You need to go in directly like sip.controlup.com. If you go in through DEX you won’t get the API tab. If you can’t login through other methods, our devops team can create an API key for your account through a support ticket
It’s a known issue and we’re working on getting the API key tab in DEX as well, but don’t have an exact ETA at this time
