Users discussed ways to get more information from the Scoutbees test and agreed that the result is binary – either success or failure. They mentioned using APIs and Grafana to edit widgets and see more specific data, and asked for help setting this up. Some users were interested in observing this during scouting.

When doing the Scoutbees is there any way to get it say more than Success or Failure?
This probably belongs in #
But tests are a binary result, they either complete or they don’t. Once you have the result you can of course get more data about why it failed etc, but as test result itself, those are the only 2 options
Could you elaborate on what you’re trying to do?
Hi @member there is more information in the API and you can edit the widgets in Grafana. Is their anything specific you would want to see ?
Would love to be able to see this on the dashboard.
Hi Greg I think you can get this data from this api https://api.controlup.io/reference/appget_tests and put it in Grafana is this something you could do or would need help with ?
With the Big-Screen through Grafana is my first dip so probably would need a little help getting this setup.
@member do you by any change already have done something with that API in Grafana ?
All I have done is import in the json file from the Big-Screen instructions.
++ It is of significant interest for other customers, including myself, to observe this for/while scouting. 🙂
@member, no I’ve nothing ready what does look like this.
But I guess that cant be too hard. I will try to reproduce this view by any chance.
I may have some time next week to take a deeper look.
@member thank you that would be awesome I had a busy week and probably dont have time next week so if you can help I will be very grateful 🙂
