The user asked if there was a way to get more than 14 days of history in the ‘Incidents' window and more than 1-hour of history in the 'Events' view. The response was that ‘Incidents’ this is not possible, however ‘Events’ can be increased by increasing RAM, which will increase the console footprint. The user then asked if a feature request could be sent for ‘Incidents’ history window. The response was that this could be done, although the audit data can be sent to syslog server in order to query for more than 14 days.

Is there a sizing guide to how much storage space you need for ControlUp Inights
A user asked about sizing for Insights storage - in the KB, an example of 1,000 RDSH, 500 VDI and 30 Server OS users was given as 3 TB per year with an overhead of 1.3. 8,000 Citrix users, 2,000 VDIs, 3,000 laptops and 1,000 servers will require around 48 TB of storage, which would need an IOP cluster with 3 data nodes. The article from ControlUp KB is no longer available, however ControlUp's Knowledge Base article on prerequisites for Insights on-premises can be found at https://support.controlup.com/v1/docs/insights-on-premises-prerequisites#recommended-installation-types-based-on-sessions.

Why Separate Monitors and Data Collectors for ControlUp?
It is important to separate Monitors from Data Collectors in order to avoid competing for resources as well as breaking up extensions into chunks. Many companies opt for 8 Data Collectors, while some run Data Collector on Monitor servers if there is no sizing issue. Further resources concerning Data Collectors can be found at ControlUp's blog article and KB page (https://www.controlup.com/resources/blog/entry/what-is-a-data-collector-and-why-does-it-matter, https://support.controlup.com/docs/controlup-data-collector).

How to get the IGEL Device Name vs. the MAC Address with ControlUp Remote DX?
The user asked about how the naming of an IGEL thin client works, as it appears in the COP and in scripts. The network name had not been set, so it appeared differently in UMS and COP, and the scripts gave an error. By setting the Network Name, it should appear consistently across the platform. For more information, please see https://kb.igel.com/endpointmgmt-6.08/en/renaming-igel-os-devices-47711460.html.

Error: “Install .NET FW 4.8 on the target machine” Upgrading ControlUp Monitors
A user was trying to upgrade ControlUp Monitors from 8.7.0.579 but kept getting a message to install .NET FW 4.8 on the target machine. This is a known issue which is fixed either by patching or uninstalling a patch (specifically ms patch kb5011048). Rolling back the upgrade was the current solution, but the user had the current version 4.8 (not 4.8.1) and a clean install worked. The KB article for this issue is: Error when deploying ControlUp Monitor: Install .NET FW 4.8 on the target machine.

Can I remove\organize\curate the list of ControlUp Script Actions in the right-click context menu?
The user asked about curating the right-click action list in ControlUp - by using a prefix with the company and script name, the scripts can be filtered and found more easily in the Console. Renaming a community script with a prefix may orphan it from future updates. Virtual Expert rules can also be used to organize the columns. The user also mentioned using Site Monitor on a trigger to dump a CSV onto a share.

How to Determine Device Presence and Last Communication Value in ControlUp Edge DX
A user asked about EdgeDX API, looking for a best Index to use and if an API request should be sent for each device.
