A discussion took place about upcoming developments in Windows Services Monitoring. This feature is expected to be available in ControlUp's 8.8 version in Q1 of 2023. There is also anticipated FSLogix integration with Windows 2019. Services will be a big improvement for users who have done a lot of scripting for services in the past.

How to Share Custom Dashboards Grid Views in ControlUp Solve
Custom dashboards and grid views can be created in ControlUp, but currently cannot be shared. @member proposed an additional way of seeing all logical disks in one view to simplify operations and support. This had been requested previously and will be added to the roadmap for next year. For a quicker solution, export-cuquery for the LogicalDisks table can be exported to a chart in excel or an HTML file with pswritehtml.

How to Track Disk Space Trend Analysis in ControlUp Real-Time DX?
A user asked if there was a way to track disk space trend analysis. The feature was well-received and the team suggested adding a “free disk space” chart to their Machine Trends report. They also discussed adding it to the Sizing Recommendations report, since the Streaming Project will impact the current metrics they were planning to include. The Streaming Demo was held recently and it was decided that the project would fit well with existing historical PVS & GPU metrics.

How to Configure ControlUp Alert Policy via API
A user asked about configuring an alert policy via API. Other users reported that the request has been raised multiple times in an internal ScoutBees channel and a connection was made to the ScoutBees PM, Ehud. The user was thanked for the feedback and it was reported that the request could be targeted for 2H23.
