Hi Team, now that CU4C has now been released for macOS, I want to deploy to all our mac devices however when we run the install for a device it does a prompt for the end user to allow this in System Settings. Is there a way this can be taken out of the shell script so that when we deploy via MDM it doesn’t do this prompt. We can allow this in System Settings for the agent using a mobileconfig file ourselves through Jamf
Hey @member @member can you take this one?
Please let us know an update on this as soon as you can, we are keen to roll this out to our macOS devices
hey @member, apologies for the delayed answer. You can add a profile to your Mac via any MDM solution. Once applied – Prompt should not appear.
Mobile profile file was added to the Mac agent installation section in our knowledge base.
Please not that MacOS 26.x does not allow adding executable manually to FDA settings (Full Disk Access) and so using MDM for MacOS 26.x is mandatory. 🙏
