A user started a POC for CU for Desktops and asked if there is a place for DEX to store script output in order to troubleshoot errors. Another user advised using SIP EVENT BEGINS/ENDS to capture the output and noted that enhancements are planned. They also mentioned that script failures are logged in the system events. We have a POC started for CU for Desktops. Edge. Writing scripts and playing around with indexes and reports. Is there a place that DEX stores the script output so we can troubleshoot errors if the script fails?
Hey Tom, hope you’re good. Currently the output would be captured if you return it to the device events using the SIP EVENT BEGINS/ENDS https://support.controlup.com/docs/scripting-guide
I know there’s some shortcomings in what exactly happens when a script runs and I know there’s some enhancements on the way
