A user asked about implementing SSO groups from the dex platform into ControlUp. Documentation on using SSO groups for user roles was shared, along with a suggestion to check assertion data. It was confirmed that the VDI is enforcing the security policy set in the RTDX Console.

Is there an easy way to implement SSO groups I already have built out in the dex platform? Anytime my users signon they get the "default view"
Hey Justin, here is our documentation on using SSO groups to set user roles in ControlUp – https://support.controlup.com/docs/saml-sso-for-dex#assign-user-roles-to-idp-groups
If that doesn’t help, could you give some more details about what you are trying to do?
Thanks for reaching out. Right now we have SSO groups we have been using one with full admin access and a help desk role one. At the time before upgrading we used all SSO groups for permissions but when my helpdesk and admin login in they only get the default role set by the console.
check the assertion data if the groups being send to us are exactly what you set up. If that’s the case please open a support ticket on this

Are you referring to the VDI access or the DEX access?
