A user was looking for a way to limit VDI visibility in the VDI App to specific folders. Another user suggested setting permissions based on folder level in the security policy config, and provided a link to the documentation. They also mentioned the possibility of needing to have independent sites enabled. The original user thanked them and mentioned that their SSO permissions were the issue and they were able to achieve their goal.

Hello to All – I’m trying to find a way to limit the VDI visibility in the VDI App for users to only specific folders. Is there a way to do this?
You can set permissions based on folder level in the security policy config. I think it should be documented here https://support.controlup.com/docs/security-policy-pane
A few scrolls in
It is very granular, but I think there’s a template somewhere on the KB also
You might need to have independent sites enabled for this to work
Thank Joel – i was on the right track, but had my SSO permissions messed up it turns out. Have achieved what I set out to do!
