The ControlUp console displays ICA proxy connections for NetScaler Gateways, but ControlUp Insights does not. Filtering session activity reports by initial client IP or using export-cuquery may provide the desired results. Details can be found on the ControlUp Support page: https://support.controlup.com/docs/monitor-cluster-powershell-fields-by-table#hdxsessions.

How to Deploy ControlUp Remote DX on IGEL Devices
A user asked about the best or newest way to deploy/update ControlUp Remote DX on IGEL. The Igel firmware release 11.08.230 includes ControlUp Agent 8.1.5.500 and the user asked how to activate this feature. The user was given advice to move away from Real-Time but add them to Edge DX. As of 11.04 and earlier, the user was advised to use a custom partition. There is a bug that prevents the user from connecting after June last year, though. The user can download the ControlUp Remote DX Agent install script for IGEL devices using OS v11.05.152 and test it on OS v11.07.198.

Help With Logging off Issues in Citrix VDA Environments using ControlUp
A user encountered a 'logging off' status in a Citrix VDA environment. After selecting 'log off' option, the process takes longer than usual and, if the user tries to reconnect the next day, they get a message. ControlUp can help with this situation, either setting an automated action to reboot the system for single sessions, or putting the machine into maintenance mode for multi-session hosts to prevent new connections. In case of one user assigned to the system, killing the processes one by one can help. Further information can be found on Citrix's support article: https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX891671/graceful-logoff-from-a-published-application-renders-the-session-in-active-state.

Targeting Machines for Surveys in ControlUp Edge DX
A user asked if it is possible to target certain machines for surveys in ControlUp Edge DX, with the current options being AD groups or individual machines. It was mentioned that machine group selection may need to be requested as an enhancement. Linux agents do not currently support user sentiment. The survey is sent to users, and Edge is not installed on Citrix desktops.

How does ControlUp report failed logins in the logon duration report?
ControlUp users were discussing how to determine failed logins for the Logon Duration Report, and the root cause of the issue: the Antivirus product scanning thousands of files stored in the Roaming profile. The current FSLogix release was mentioned to be 'trash', while UPM has been known to work better with one issue. Citrix has been asked to incorporate a work-around in a future UPM release to solve the issue.

How to Enable/Disable Maintenance Mode Script in ControlUp?
A user asked if anything special is needed to use the enable/disable maintenance mode script - it's only for on-prem Citrix and requires giving the service account the necessary rights. Citrix Cloud requires the Secure Access Account to have full admin rights. The script works great in RT Console and a user was having difficulty loading sanpin in Solve. The team will take a look tomorrow.

Help with hung User Sessions in EUC Platforms on ControlUp Real-Time DX
This EUC discussion explored solutions to an issue where user's sessions are hung and don't want to reconnect. ControlUp's Invoke-cuquery can be used to figure out where a user has sessions, and a registry key value can be used to log them off - though this process must be done remotely. Alternately, there may be solutions available through the EUC platform. When sessions don't disconnect, this is usually due to antivirus, onedrive, or any systray tool - the best solution is to add these to the LogoffCheckSysModules registry value.

Investigating Citrix VDA Registration Issues with ControlUp
A ControlUp user was dealing with a fallout after domain controller patching impacting Citrix VDA registration. Yoni suggested using the built in machine action GP Update to check the Events pane for ID 14 and the domain membership script action for repairing identity issues, while other ControlUp SMEs were tagged for further help.
