How to Configure CVAD Maintenance Mode from a CVAD Integration in a ControlUp Trigger
A user asked about using the CVAD Maintenance Mode from an integration in a trigger. The account was using shared credentials and the Monitor/Data Source connection seemed ok. It was suggested that the user use an Advanced Trigger and select the "Include newly discovered devices" option and use the "Disable CVAD machine maintenance mode" script action to enable the machine. ControlUp Agent and Remote DX Installation on an On-Premise Environment
A user asked about installing the ControlUp agent and Remote DX across an on-premise environment, with IGEL and Windows PCs as clients. In order to control both from the console, version 8.8 and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Smart-X\ControlUp\Console\EnableAgentManagement set to 1 are required. The Remote DX should be installed via SCCM, as per Microsoft's policy. Why are mouse clicks within RDP sessions in ControlUp 8.8 passed through to background apps?
Users have reported an issue when using RDP/ControlUpconsole.exe, where clicking within an RDP session causes random background apps to pop to the foreground. It was suggested this was a known issue unrelated to ControlUp/RDM/Citrix, linked to the RDP stack, and ControlUp are unable to do anything about it. A workaround is to open the RDP session in a new window. ControlUp are also working on a modern Remote Control solution, but this will only be available with the Solve product, which the user doesn't have access to for another 3 years.

Why isn’t the Citrix VM maintenance mode trigger activating when local storage falls below a certain capacity?
A user had set up a trigger to put a virtual machine into Citrix Maintenance Mode when local storage D:\ was below X GB, but it was not working. Another user shared screenshots of their own working trigger configuration and suggested the user upgrade to the latest ControlUp version. They also proposed trying a script that drains and reboots the server instead of putting it into Maintenance Mode. The latest ControlUp version was already being used.
