A user asked if port 40705 needed to be opened between monitors and IGEL devices for Remote DX. It was suggested that no firewall rules were necessary, and the user was given the steps to deploy the Remote DX plugin and configure the virtual channel in order to view Remote DX metrics. It was also suggested for the user to test on a laptop/PC. The user then asked for the cuepux_srv_dll which was not immediately found.

The Benefit of Running RemoteDX and EdgeDX Together
A user asked if there was any benefit to running both RemoteDX and EdgeDX in addition to each other. They are completely different, with RemoteDX adding extra metrics to VDI sessions and EdgeDX focused on corporate physical endpoints. Though each offers different data, there is benefit in drilling down from RemoteDX to the device in EdgeDX. Real-Time DX and Edge DX are two different products, so EdgeDX data is not viewable in Real-Time DX but Solve and DEX provide this data in the same web interface.

Mitigating False Alarms on Failed Machinesin ControlUp
A user asked about false alarms being triggered on failed machines, and it was suggested to check the Incident tab in the (old) console to see values and to change the trigger to dump all machines, folders, sessions and processes to CSV files in order to analyze the incident. Mitigation strategies such as setting the threshold to at least 1 min was suggested.

Syncing Between AD and ControlUp
A user asked about putting in place a sync between AD and ControlUp and wondered what the folderpath attribute should look like in their case. The universal sync script is the replacement for the CVAD script, and should be used for EUC. It was suggested to add an introductory section comparing the AD Sync and EUC Sync to the documentation, which the team is now doing. Investigating Network/Internet Connection Drops with ControlUp Latency Report
The user asked about a graph showing gaps in latency numbers which indicates a drop in the clients network/internet connection. It was suggested to set up Scoutbees and monitor wifi as part of the issue resolution. Having 3 targets in the latency report and seeing gaps in the same spot for all 3 targets could point to an issue with the user's cable, router, modem or ISP. ControlUP traceroute info might also be helpful.

How to View Citrix RTT in ControlUp Solve and Edge?
A user asked if Citrix RTT can be seen in ControlUp Solve / Edge. The RTT column is for Blast/RDP, while ICA users should use the "Latency Last" metric.
