Creating Reports on Device Network Connections with ControlUp Edge DX
A user asked if it is possible to create a report based on the last time a device connected to the company's network using EdgeDX. EdgeDX provides the 'netcfg_info' and 'location_history' indexes with information on the public IP and network adapter IP associated at that time. Alternatively, a script can be used to send data to a custom index when an internal IP address is reachable.

Getting Started with Securely Exporting ControlUp Metrics
A user asked if a ControlUp Solve dashboard can be published externally without authentication; it's not possible for security reasons. Alternatives include exporting metrics with PowerShell and HTML and using the Power Platform, or leveraging ControlUp DEX with its username/password authentication. Investigating 404 Error using ControlUp Edge DX API for Device List
A user encountered a 404 error when using the API to call a script against a device list. A Network check script was supplied which could address the 414 devices before it broke, with 1 per device ID specified. The issue was discovered to be due to a machine having an altered Device ID within 3 minutes. The EdgeDX API URLs mentioned in the message were 'Global-EdgeDX Download Manager' = 'downloads.sip.controlup.com', 'Global-EdgeDX tenant' = "$edgetenant.sip.controlup.com" and 'Global-Google Maps' = 'maps.google.com'.

Finding the Root Cause of Blue Screens with ControlUp
A user mentioned the "Top Blue Screen Events by Cause" report in ControlUp which shows event errors that caused the blue screen. Timothy's comment also explained that the users can click on the items in the chart to go directly to the Microsoft documentation for the relevant error. Managing Access Control in ControlUp EdgeDX
A user enquired about whether Access Control was removed from EdgeDX. It was suggested the user compare access in Edge and app.controlup.com. It was advised the user should look for the toggle in the upper right corner in Edge, and if it wasn't present then they didn't have the permissions to make role changes. A screenshot was provided to illustrate the toggle.
