A user asked if anyone is using EdgeDX and Beyond Trust Endpoint Privilege Management (Avecto) in their environment and experiencing issues with Teams crashing or not opening. ControlUp has exclusions in place, but the issue persists. Following registry entries should indicate exclusions put in place by the Avecto team. Communications between ControlUp and Avecto support may be necessary to troubleshoot the issue further.

Can ControlUp Real-Time Be Deployed in an On-Premise Environment?
A user asked if it was possible to deploy Real-Time Diagnostics in an on-premise environment, which is possible with a fully on-premise solution. HP thin clients can be added to Edge DX, which is cloud-only and can get remote DX data from them but not the devices themselves.

How to Determine Device Presence and Last Communication Value in ControlUp Edge DX
A user asked about EdgeDX API, looking for a best Index to use and if an API request should be sent for each device. Health Checks for VMware UAGs Using Horizon and UAG APIs within ControlUp
A user asked for suggestions on what metrics to assess in a project to do better health checks on VMware UAGs using Horizon and UAG APIs. These metrics would also be desirable to display in ControlUp's Solve and Console. Discussions also included Dennis' idea to bring the data to Edge DX and a feature request for UAG data.

How to Make ControlUp Edge DX Recognize Windows-Based Thin Clients
A user was having an issue with Windows-based thin clients not showing up properly on Edge DX when the device image was sysprepped and reinstalled. Edge has a UID stored in the programdata folder which marks the device as unique. To solve this issue, the UID must be removed before sealing the image, and then a new UID will be generated when the Edge agent is restarted. The UID file can be found in C:\programdata\Avacee\sip_agent\cachefiles.

Tackling Peak User Input Delay (secs) with ControlUp
Trentent gave advice seeking to identify why application performance on physical machines had a peak user input delay up to 15 seconds - the default trigger priority boost for processes has a threshold of 300ms. Edge DX was installed and CPU spikes were not observed. It was fixed in the Beta 2 for Windows and can be due to any number of causes such as latency with proxies and disk issues. User input delay can be inspected with the newest agent.

How to Kick off Windows Systemreset Command from ControlUp Edge DX?
A user wondered if there was a way to kick off the Windows "systemreset -factoryreset" command with a script from Edge, as an alternative to the user going into recovery mode, but it seems that a prompt is required which will be unanswered if the user is not logged on. The user would not like to automate this process and the solution may not be worth the effort required to make it 100% safe.
