ControlUp, FSLogix, and Citrix DaaS – Users Share Experiences and Questions

A user asked if anyone else has experience using Citrix DaaS and FSLogix with ControlUp. They are not seeing any FSLogix data in the Console and have questions about the System Process showing a lot of disk writes. Another user shared their experience with FSLogix and ControlUp, mentioning that their data started showing right away and they do not run a Windows OS for CIF shares. The first user thanks the second for their input and mentions an issue with Crowdstrike using CPU when the Windows firewall is on.

Workaround for Issue with Dashboards for Citrix Delivery Groups

A user asked for a workaround for an issue with dashboards for Citrix delivery groups in ControlUp - when tags are used for the delivery groups, it interferes with the ability to track user experience and other metrics. It is confirmed that the tags are on the Citrix side, and there is speculation that this could be a bug related to changes in the Citrix API/SDK. The issue specifically affects the ability to track Failed Connections per hour.

Generating Daily Unregistered Citrix VM Report from ControlUp

Getting Started with Securely Exporting ControlUp Metrics

A user asked if a ControlUp Solve dashboard can be published externally without authentication; it's not possible for security reasons. Alternatives include exporting metrics with PowerShell and HTML and using the Power Platform, or leveraging ControlUp DEX with its username/password authentication. Stress Testing Tool Recommendations for Generating High Usage in ControlUp

A user asked for recommendations on stress testing tools and generating high CPU/RAM/network usage. Suggestions offered included Notepad for increasing memory, CPUStress, LoadGen, SimLoads from eucscore, a PowerShell script for maxing out all but one of the CPU cores, and a Linux command to generate a single thread of stress. The G0-EUC team use LoadGen for their research and the post also provided a link to their testing methodology.
