Troubleshooting Remote DX Activity on Dell Wyse Thin Client with ThinOS

A user installed ControlUp package on a Dell Wyse Thin Client with ThinOS 2211, but they are not seeing any Remote DX activity. Suggestions from ControlUp were to check with specific items found at https://support.controlup.com/docs/remote-dx-known-issues. After rebooting the Thin Client, Landon suggested something needed to go into the module.ini of the Citrix client on the endpoint.

ControlUp Agent and Remote DX Installation on an On-Premise Environment

A user asked about installing the ControlUp agent and Remote DX across an on-premise environment, with IGEL and Windows PCs as clients. In order to control both from the console, version 8.8 and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Smart-X\ControlUp\Console\EnableAgentManagement set to 1 are required. The Remote DX should be installed via SCCM, as per Microsoft's policy. A user asked about updating ControlUp agents in a Citrix environment. The user had previously installed manually but encountered an error when updating to 8.8. An uninstall script (https://support.controlup.com/docs/i-can-t-remove-the-controlup-agent-msi-installed-@member) and use of Tanium was suggested to remotely uninstall the agent.
