Troubleshooting Edge DX and Netskope CASB
A user asked about Netskope CASB causing Edge DX to show their IP address as a Netskope owned one instead of their actual ISP IP. They found an article about ZScaler needing to be set up to bypass some ControlUp URLs for the real IP to show, and asked if this would likely be the same fix for Netskope. Another user responded saying they had a similar issue with ZScaler and needed to set up a bypass in order to correctly report ISPs. It is likely that EdgeDX is looking at the IP the client is coming in from and showing the Netskope IP. Creating Reports on Device Network Connections with ControlUp Edge DX

How to Check if a User Accessed an Application such as a VPN in ControlUp
The user asked if it was possible to see if a user had used an application such as a VPN. @member recommended checking stopped processes and authentication logs, then provided a script to check the VPN default gateway. Where to Find the Initial Branch Setting in ControlUp?

Driving Use Cases for Choosing ControlUp Edge DX
Two members discussed the driving use cases for choosing ControlUp Edge DX, including Corp laptop having VPN connectivity issues, seeing network latency/connectivity/ISP, and providing admin-level support to users' machines even when not connected to a VPN. Edge DX is designed for FatClients, providing detailed information without needing to be connected to VMs. RemoteDX can also be installed but is solely for showing information while connected to Win365, XenDesktop or Horizon.

Investigating Network Latency Issues in ControlUp
A user noticed that some of their devices experience a network latency with white spaces at different intervals and asked for clarification. It was determined that the ping was failing consistently every 40 minutes and that there could be a network issue (not VPN) related to communicating with a target Citrix public IP address. The user was instructed to open a support ticket and view raw data to determine if the numbers match. The graphs looked normal when checked.
