A user is experiencing issues with machine metrics not showing up in DEX after updating their Horizon Farm to agent 9.2.0.622. Another user suggests that the monitors may not be able to connect to the agents. It is then clarified that agents do not directly connect to DEX and that the issue may be due to a failure in the inbound or outbound connections between monitor and agent. The monitors may still be running.

Hello team,
since we have updated one Horizon Farm with 50 servers to agent 9.2.0.622 the machine metrics are available in the console but not in DEX – VDI – Machines. The status of the machines in DEX is "Disconnected". The monitor servers have been restartet. Is this a known issue?
no its not, sounds like the monitors are not able to connect/agent not able to connect to monitors.
Hi Wouter, in my understanding the agents don’t connect to DEX directly, only to monitor servers, right? So, why do I have the metrics in the console but not in DEX?
correct, a console always creates its own inbound (so from console to agent) connection to agents and does not depend on the monitors for it. I don’t know your setup but the monitors either also use inbound or outbound (from agent to monitor) and thats where things are failing. You have some information so the monitors are running but there is no connection between monitor and agent
