A user asked for assistance regarding trigger notification for a user who is not showing up. Another user suggested adding the account into the security policy section, specifically the CU admins role. It was also mentioned that the user must run the console and sign up in order to have an account on ControlUp Academy. To send emails to users who are not on the list or in a distribution, SMTP should be used. Landon provided the assistance.

Have you added their account into the security policy section? For example CU admins role.
The user must run the console one time and "sign up". Until they do that they won’t have an account there. If you need to send emails to people not in the list or a distro you need to use SMTP instead.
