A user asked about a trigger for HZ no available machine and whether the HZ access group is mandatory. It was confirmed that the access group is not mandatory and can be applied to all pools using an asterisk. The trigger pack can be found at https://support.controlup.com/docs/trigger-packs and it needs to run against EUC environments.

Hi All,
Imported a trigger for HZ no available machine. In the filter editor, there is an HZ access group added. Is it mandatory to have it? If so, do we need to create an access group if we do not have one?

no it’s not required, where did you download this one? I can’t remember adding this to the trigger packs
I got it from here
https://support.controlup.com/docs/trigger-packs
ok I checked my documentation and that has to be in there and if you want to apply it to all pools you use the default asterisk. The reason for this is that otherwise it would also be triggered for the folder with the connection servers for example
so just keep it as * and you’re golden
I have selected only non-persistent VDI from the folders part. For access group, do we have to enter pool names with a Wikdcard?
it needs to run against the euc environments as we don’t aggregate this data on folder level and you can only select the main level there
I have added the desltop pools that needed to be there under the HZ access group Will monitor and update.
