A user asked if they can use a new VDI license key received before the expiration of their current one. Another user responded that they can put in the new license but it won’t start until the first day of the new one. It was suggested to open a support ticket to see if the start date can be changed to reflect the new end date. The old license will stay active until the new one starts on its designated date.

Hello guys, quick question. I just received a new license key for VDI. My current license expires 30-11 and my new one start at 01-12.
Can I put the new license in place already? Or do I need to wait untill 01-12
you can put it in place but it wont start until the first. If the license count didn’t change you can open a support ticket to see if they can change the start date to now so the new end date is reflected already
Ah ok, will my old license stay active if I enable this one already?
yes as the new one will have a start date by default of 01-12
