A user asked for help with designing an environment created for a ControlUp project. Yair suggested a documentation link and ControlUp Academy to better understand the process. ControlUp stencils from two years ago were shared and a new set of brand new icons was suggested to be created for the community as part of the onboarding process. The link to ControlUp Academy is: https://cuacademy.controlup.com/course-catalog/.

Hello All! I need a help for my first project ControlUp (Realtime, Solve, Scoutbees). Exists any software or document to design the environment created for my project team?
In terms of documentation we have our knowledgebase here you can view & search.
You can start in the Getting Started section and you can also view the sizing doc so you’ll know what specs to prep.
In terms of architecture you can view this doc.
If you’re aiming at something different from what I referred you to – let me know.
@member highly recommend joining the Academy for a few courses if you would like as well.
Here is the course catalog https://cuacademy.controlup.com/course-catalog/
@member, I know this does not help directly. But you have all of us here in Slack. If you have a question along the way, ask it in the best channel, Solve in the #controlup-solve channel, etc., and a bunch will try to help! If you have questions about what people recommend or think about doing x, then ask. This is and will become an excellent place for those types of questions too. The ControlUp Community will be a great resource, along with all the other great stuff ControlUp is creating. Don’t ever feel like a question is too simple or hard to ask. Any question is a good question. Just feel free to ask!
Hi, Yair! Thank You for reply. The ControlUp environment is finished and running on the client. I really need to design the environment for documentation and project delivery. Like this doc Citrix with all components and icons for design the environment created.

So.. you’re after some visio stencils? we have some designs for special cases
like this old design I did some time back… ?

or this

Oh!!! Nice, That’s it! How did you create this doc?
The first image are perfect for what I need.I have some visio stencils I used a while back (2 years old). They’re old and we changed the icons etc but I guess I can share it with you. It’s still serves its purpose.
@member – maybe our UI/UX team can come up with a set of brand new icons for the community? PNG/SVG style and also packages as Visio stencils.
The icons you see in the designs which are NOT part of the stencils package are free icons from the Visio image searchYair thank you so much! This will help me a lot. In future this new set can help us a lot! Thanks Again!
Glad I could help ๐
