A user asked about the absence of "Logon Timeout" in the list of trigger options for Citrix connection failures in ControlUp version 9.1.5.426. Another user suggested that it may be the same as "Connection Timeout," but the first user clarified that they are different failures. A third user asked for ways to reproduce logon timeout connection failures for data analysis purposes. It was mentioned that while there is no easy way to reproduce them, they periodically occur in their deployment.

I’m running 9.1.5.426 and trying to setup some triggers around Citrix connection failures and noticed that "Logon Timeout" is noticeably absent from the list of options – Is this something thats coming with 9.2?

The list of values that you see here is coming from Citrix. Wouldn’t Logon Timeout be the same as Connection Timeout?
@member – No they are 2 different connection failures –

Any thoughts around this?
Hey Mike, do you happen to know easy ways to reproduce logon timeout connection failures? We take the data from Citrix APIs and the API documentation tells us which types of failures are available.
But perhaps there are undocumented ones or recently added reasons?
If we can create logon timeout failure, at least we can see what the data from the API looks like.
Im not aware of an easy way to reproduce it, but we see them periodically on our deployment for different reasons so I have data to show at any time.
