Feature Parity Matrix and FedRamp Certification for ControlUp

A user asked ControlUp about FedRamp certification, and if there was a feature parity matrix between the on-prem release and SaaS. They were informed that ControlUp is not FedRamp certified but is in the process of obtaining this certification, and a feature matrix is available at https://support.controlup.com/docs/controlup-modes. Additionally, edge dx and Scoutbees require the cloud and when in the Government space, Hybrid mode is not available.

Setting an Alert for MS Teams Crashes

A user asked about setting an alert for MS Teams crashes. They tried various settings and changed the operators to “contains.” Another user suggested that the number of hits and platform should be set to 600, 1, 3600 and “all platforms” respectively. After that, the user was able to set the alert. However, the user suggested analyzing data first to avoid false positives. Lastly, the user asked if it was possible to exclude certain errors from the alert description. To solve the issue, they want to run a clear Teams cache script in the event of a real crash.

Understanding Cross Site Association in ControlUp

When the delivery group is in another datacenter, it may have its own ControlUp monitor which the EUC view only allows one site per EUC site. RT shows information but Solve does not. It is verified that the monitor is connected and available, but the user needs "cross site association" -- a setting to allow the monitors to share data between each other. Enabling this feature increases network utilization and has to be done manually. Investigating Performance Issues with Teams on W2019 PVS Machines

The head of IT reported extreme slowness of Teams in his W2019 PVS shared machines since the beginning of the week. Insights showed high latency and low protocol bandwidth in the historical data but no CPU or memory peeks were seen. It was suggested to look at real-time performance views on his machine, and consider upgrading to the latest ControlUp version 8.8 to check all FSLogix metrics.

Troubleshooting Script Execution Issues on Windows Server 2022 with ControlUp

Users experienced scripts not executing on Windows Server 2022 but works on earlier servers. Possible problems were discussed, such as GPO settings, the account the script is running under, and if a signature was needed. It was suggested that a signed script may need to be imported, and if the issue persists to reach out to ControlUp support at support@controlup.com.
