Managing Access Control in ControlUp EdgeDX
A user enquired about whether Access Control was removed from EdgeDX. It was suggested the user compare access in Edge and app.controlup.com. It was advised the user should look for the toggle in the upper right corner in Edge, and if it wasn't present then they didn't have the permissions to make role changes. A screenshot was provided to illustrate the toggle.

Finding the URL for an MS Edge Process
A user asked for tips on pulling the URL an MS Edge process is accessing, which they found out is only available on the session level as the Microsoft API call only shows the active tab. The URL can be found in the active URL column as "Browser URL". It is only available when the browser is in the foreground.

A user inquired about how ControlUp calculates LAN latency in remote DX; ControlUp sends data via the remote DX plugin in the session and currently does not have the ability to configure another IP to ping for the LAN latency. Solutions include using ScoutBees from one or more custom hives or Edge DX as an extra target.

Troubleshooting Analyze BSOD Minidumps ControlUp Script Issues
A user was running the Analyze BSOD minidumps script as System instead of SIP service start, and it was successful the first time and then stopped working. It was recommended to delete some data in HKLM and to empty the data index unless it was changed. The user also wanted the script to write to an index and device events, and was informed that these were not mutually exclusive.
